Spring elf necklace N935by ~Fleur-de-Irk

Artisan Crafts / Jewelry

Delicate agate is set in a beaded bezel. The chain is decorated with green freshwater pearls and glass flowers. The overall impression is of somewat shy spring. I had a visin of fair blod elf wile making this.

The spring is not far eway!
This necklace was made in mid-January after I dreamed about the spring in Moscow, with that specific smell I didn't feel for many years.

oh yea... it did take me straight into that special honeybee tea picknick mode green soft grass and a lamb playing with a butterfly.... man i wish spring would come!

When I have a bit more time I will start to make in material a collection of Tolkien-inpired jewelry. Most are in a sketch form and some only in my head, but this one really belongs there. I just got this stone that was a perfect fit, and then the dream... Actually I never made a collection of more then 4-5 items, but it is an interesting goal.

I love the books from the childhood. And really hope to make this collection, but not now. My goal for this year is to grow internet sales to twice what they are now, and it takes all the time in the world...
